Our history
Quality Fostering was established in 2006 by Tony Rae. Tony is an experienced Social Worker and Manager with a background in working with young people in residential homes and Local Authority Children and Families Services.
His motivation to set up an independent fostering agency stemmed from his firm belief children achieve better outcomes when they have the opportunity to live within a nurturing family environment. The aim is to develop a service with a child centered ethos at its core.
Our foster carers are:
- Highly supported by a team of experienced qualified social workers
- Recognised by receiving generous remuneration
- Excellently trained and given development opportunities
- Matched with children and young people appropriately
Since 2006 we have placed over 150 children with our carers
- We have contracted Tenders with several local authorities, including those across the West Midlands, which includes 13 Local Authorities. We also make placements with non tendered authorities.
Quality Fostering Ltd provide 24/7 out of hours duty support
- Foster Carers are able to contact us in any emergency and will be advised of the process to follow for that situation.
- We have agency membership to Foster Talk, and membership for all our carers.
- We also provide support to our community of foster families through our Mentoring Scheme which links newly approved carers with experienced carers.
